Torrevieja,
the nearby resort, is home to one of Spain’s largest
fishing fleets. The old town with port and nautical club has
a warm and welcoming ambiance and will appeal to those who

beaches drive to the far end of Dehesa Campoamor, where the
rust – coloured cliffs drop down to small and empty
coves.
The surroundings of Torrevieja are full of historic-artistic
monuments, like The Casino, a modernistic building of the
beginning of this century, with its famous mozarabic style.
